Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and proactive clinician who is ready to take the next step as a Clinical Nurse. This is an advanced level Registered Nurse role acting as a clinical and professional resource in all facets of caring for the patient whilst problem solving within the clinical setting. The Clinical Nurse contributes to and participates in the education of all graduates and novice staff by being involved in department orientation in‑service and clinical programs. About The Role The Operating Theatre department at Greenslopes Private Hospital provides surgical services across 23 operating theatres and is one of the largest private surgical departments in Queensland. One of the existing OTs has been converted into a hybrid theatre; a surgical theatre equipped with medical imaging equipment enabling both open and minimally invasive procedures. Utilising the latest advancements in health technology such as 18 Endosuites Cardiac / Thoracic specific theatres, the new state‑of‑the‑art Obstetrics Theatre, the Neurosurgery Suite with Intra‑Operative CT Scanner, the Da Vinci robotic surgical system, Mazor Spinal robot and multiple brand‑new theatre facilities, the Greenslopes Private Hospital Theatre team operates on the cutting‑edge of technology. About You You will bring extensive clinical skills and experience within Theatre as an Orthopaedic Scrub Scout Nurse. Leadership or management experience within a clinical setting will be highly desirable; this role will also suit an experienced Nurse looking to step up. Essential Minimum three (3) years post‑grad clinical experience as a Scrub Scout Relevant registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Passionate mentor with the ability to lead and support our team Effective communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to act as a positive role model and as a professional at all times Post‑graduate qualification(s) in a relevant peri‑operative speciality (highly regarded) Remuneration On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $54.72 – $58.82 superannuation based on experience level and qualifications exclusive of penalties or allowances.
