Restaurant Waiter/Section Head/Bartender

Olive and Angelo' is seeking an experienced Restaurant Waiter/Section Head/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team in our Brisbane CBD restaurant. This is a casual position, offering flexibility to fit around your lifestyle. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional service and creating an unforgettable dining experience for our customers. Must be available for the Christmas period. What you'll be doing Greeting and seating customers with a warm and friendly manner Taking food and beverage orders, and communicating these effectively to the kitchen and bar teams Providing knowledgeable recommendations on our menu and wine list Delivering orders to tables in a timely and professional manner Clearing and resetting tables efficiently between seatings Assisting the Section Head with supervision and coordination of the wait staff team Providing table‑side preparation and service of select menu items Maintaining a high level of product knowledge and service standards Adhering to all health, safety and compliance requirements Collecting payments for sales and operating point of sales machines and cash registers What we're looking for Previous experience as a waiter, section head waiter, bartender or in a similar customer service role within a high‑quality restaurant or hospitality environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for creating memorable dining experiences Strong product knowledge, including food, wine and cocktail menus Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently Adaptability and the capacity to work calmly under pressure during busy periods A responsible, professional and customer‑focused attitude RSA certification (or willingness to obtain) What we offer Competitive hourly rates, with opportunities for tips and bonuses Flexible scheduling to accommodate your lifestyle Ongoing training and development opportunities A vibrant, fast‑paced work culture with a collaborative team Meal and beverage discounts We encourage applications from candidates with a disability.
