Vegetation Manager

About the role SA Power Networks is seeking a strategic minded leader with operational experience to join the team in Asset Management and Operations. The Vegetation Manager holds responsibility for the strategic and operational oversight of Vegetation Services. This encompasses the development and implementation of financial, risk, resource, and engagement strategies to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with the Electricity Act 1996 and its associated regulations. The role involves providing leadership to the vegetation team, managing key contractors, and fostering strong internal and external relationships to achieve collaborative outcomes across the industry. Other role responsibilities : Oversee the operational and financial management of vegetation programs, ensuring compliance with the Electricity Act 1996 and associated regulations Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to prioritise work programs that meet business and legislative obligations Monitor and manage contractor performance to ensure work is delivered safely, meets quality standards, and complies with contractual and regulatory requirements Provide leadership to the vegetation work group, promoting a vision and culture that drives productivity, continuous improvement and business success Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external stakeholders, and contractors to improve customer service and ensure risk management Culture & benefits As a valued member of SA Power Networks, you will enjoy being part of a collaborative team and relish an environment with a true sense of community.
