OOSH Managers & Educators – NEW OOSH Service Opening We're Growing Join Active OOSH at Our NEW Lochinvar Public School Service Active OOSH is excited to announce the opening of our brand-new service at Lochinvar Public School , launching Term 1, 2026 To ensure a smooth and consistent rollout of Active OOSH processes, some of our Abermain staff will be moving to the new location. As a result, we are now seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and dedicated educators to join our teams at both Abermain and Lochinvar . Successful applicants will commence prior to the service opening and will complete all onboarding and training at our Abermain service. About Active OOSH Active OOSH is a dynamic and rapidly growing organisation providing high-quality Out of School Hours (OOSH) care across ten locations in the Hunter region. Roles we are recruiting for Service Managers (1 x Abermain and 1 x Lochinvar) Assistant Managers (1 x Abermain and 1 x Lochinvar) Educators – Working across both Abermain and Lochinvar locations (Multiple positions) Position Details 30–38 hours per week (Service Manager & Assistant Manager) Award level based on qualification and experience Additional $20.41 split-shift allowance per day Service Managers and Assistant Managers will Lead and mentor educators Maintain regulatory compliance Oversee daily operations and environments Build strong relationships with families and school communities Drive continuous improvement and service excellence Educators will Provide high-quality care Support engaging programs Uphold Active OOSH core values, policies, and child-safe practices About you We are looking for individuals who are: Passionate about working with children Strong communicators and team players Organised, reliable, and dedicated Knowledgeable or willing to learn about the NQF, NQS, and Child Safe Standards Essential Requirements Diploma in Children's Services (or working towards) OR ACECQA-approved equivalent Current WWCC First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis (or willingness to obtain) Accredited Child Protection training (or willingness to obtain) Previous OOSH/childcare experience (leadership roles highly desirable) Minimum 6 months of leadership experience for Service Manager positions What We Offer Supportive and collaborative Head Office Operations Team Weekly onsite support and mentoring Monthly professional development sessions Paid mental health day each term for permanent staff Additional administrative time each day Monthly manager collaboration and networking sessions A caring, positive and fun workplace culture where you can grow Ready to Join Our Team?
