Company Doral Mineral Sands Pty Ltd (DMS) has well established heavy mineral sands mining and processing facilities near Bunbury, Busselton and Mandurah in the Southwest of WA and as part of the company's growth strategy, we are looking to broaden our mineral sands operations within the Gascoyne region of WA. Overview Live and work within WA's bustling Peel Region Vehicle included in package Highly desirable work/life balance – 9 Day fortnight 13% Super – Monthly contributions Mining & Mineral Processing environments Position The Production Superintendent reports to the Mine Manager and is based primarily at our Keysbrook (near Mandurah) mine site. The ideal candidate will be suitably qualified and experienced with all facets of a 24/7 mineral processing environment. Responsibilities Directing the activities of Shift Operators including performance management and rostering. Strong ongoing collaboration with the Maintenance team regarding preventative, scheduled and breakdown maintenance requirements. Collaboration and leadership with the Metallurgical team and the Mine Manager to ensure desired production outcomes. Contractor management and consultation with earthmoving requirements. Qualifications / Experience A minimum three years experience in a similar role and environment. A genuine commitment to the wellbeing and safety for yourself and your work colleagues. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Self-motivated with well-developed problem solving skills. Experience with Doral’s maintenance management system – Pronto. Current WA driver’s licence.
