This is a Team Leader, eCommerce Fulfilment & Retail inventory role with ResMed based in Sydney, NSW, AU == ResMed == Role Seniority - mid level More about the Team Leader, eCommerce Fulfilment & Retail inventory role at ResMed Role Overview The Retail Inventory & eCommerce Fulfilment Team Lead plays a key role in supporting ResMed’s retail operations across Australia and New Zealand. This position partners closely with the ANZ Retail Support Team, DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) leadership, and Resmed Provider Channel. The successful candidate will lead and develop the Retail Inventory and eCommerce Fulfilment teams, ensuring operational excellence, process efficiency, and superior customer experience through effective inventory management and order fulfilment. Key Responsibilities Safety & Compliance Drive a safety-first culture, ensuring all team members adhere to ResMed Health Safety & Environment procedures. Conduct regular safety checks, hazard identification, and risk assessments within the warehouse environment. Ensure proper use of PPE, safe forklift operation, and adherence to manual handling guidelines. Oversee incident reporting, investigation, and follow-up actions to prevent recurrence. Support safety training, inductions, and ongoing competency requirements for all warehouse employees. Maintain clean, organized, and compliant work areas aligned with regulatory and internal safety standards. Leadership & Team Management: Lead the Retail Inventory and eCommerce Fulfilment teams on a day-to-day basis, ensuring alignment with business priorities. Oversee stock allocation, order distribution, and team performance to drive productivity and service quality. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Inventory & Fulfilment Operations: Manage stock levels, stock counts, and reconciliation across retail stores and eCommerce warehouses. Monitor and report on distribution performance and fulfilment metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis. Ensure all SLAs are consistently achieved across inventory and fulfilment functions. Support cross-training initiatives across teams to build capability and operational flexibility. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Act as a central point of contact between retail, eCommerce, and distribution stakeholders. Provide timely and accurate updates on stock levels, fulfilment progress, and distribution performance. Collaborate with internal partners to resolve inventory and fulfilment queries efficiently. Process Improvement & Systems Management: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and streamline workflows. Support testing and integration between Shopify, MYOB, and other backend systems to ensure seamless operation. Proactively identify and troubleshoot system issues, escalating root causes appropriately. Qualifications & Experience Required: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage diverse personalities and teams across multiple locations. Proven experience in supply chain distribution, stock management, and fulfilment operations. Excellent problem-solving abilities, balancing operational needs with revenue and customer impact considerations. Skilled in stakeholder communication, reporting, and project coordination. Ability to create and implement efficient templates, processes, and team workflows. Adaptable and agile, able to prioritize multiple queries and manage competing demands. Demonstrated experience in driving cultural and process change within established teams. Managing different personalities within the team on site and remotely across different time zones. Preferred: Working knowledge of ORACLE, MYOB EXO, and Shopify systems. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Clear understanding of the relationship between inventory, fulfilment efficiency, and revenue performance. Demonstrated initiative in identifying and implementing process improvements.
