Senior Bookkeeper

Position: On‑site, Permanent, Full‑time, Entry Level. About the Role This is a full‑time position based in our Bundaberg CBD office. The role involves: Responsibilities Maintaining accurate financial records and bookkeeping for clients. Being responsible for client lodgements, including BAS, IAS, and TPAR. Using Xero, MYOB and other Accounting/ERP platforms to manage daily transactions and maintain records. Managing accounts payable and receivable. Running payrolls for a range of clients and managing superannuation payments. Performing accurate and timely bank account reconciliations. Posting journals and supporting month‑end processes. Liaising with clients and suppliers with professionalism. Helping improve internal processes as part of a collaborative team. About You Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a senior bookkeeping role. Ability to manage multiple clients, with proven experience in prioritising tasklists, maintaining timely and professional communication, and meeting all deadlines. Solid working knowledge of cloud accounting systems (Xero & MYOB essential). Strong understanding of payroll, GST, BAS, and general compliance requirements. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset, with the confidence to engage directly with clients and provide meaningful insights. Familiarity with tools such as HubDoc, Dext, Fathom, NetSuite, or XBert (desirable but not essential). A qualification in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance.
