Always dreamed of being a game show host, bingo caller, love a chat? The Lifestyle Team at Baptcare at The Orchards Community , located in Doncaster East , is looking for passionate volunteers to help create wonderful experiences for our residents. As a Baptcare volunteer, you’ll receive full induction and support, ensuring your time with us is both rewarding and enjoyable. Schedule Sunday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Saturday, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm (over 18 only) Frequency: weekly, fortnightly, or monthly – 2 to 15 hours per session Activities you’ll assist with Games, puzzles, crosswords Arts & Crafts Colouring Exercises and walking groups Pet Therapy (bring your pet along) Bingo Entertainment, live performances, singalongs Theme days (e.g., Melbourne Cup, seasonal holidays, cultural celebrations) One‑on‑one companionship Who is this for? (Qualifications) No special skills required – just a warm heart and a desire to make a difference Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check Provide two referees who can speak to your character Be reliable, compassionate, and enjoy spending time with elderly people Commitment to regular volunteering Be over 18 years of age Interested?
