Job Description Point Care is a dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities.Position Summary:provide support to clients in accordance withtheir NDIS plan.Assistclients with daily living activities, such as eating,dressing, bathing and grooming.Provide transportation assistance to clients.Provide respite care to clients and theirfamilies.Keep accurate andup to date records or clients' care plans andprogress.Communicateeffectively with clients, their families, and other membersof the care team.Followhealth and safety regulations to ensure the safety andwell-being of clients.Participate in ongoing professional development to staycurrent with latest developments and best practices in the NDISfield. Requirements Female support workers ONLY as per required by the client A minimum of high school or equivalent.Certificate 3 or 4 in individual supportor willing to work towards completion(highlyregarded).Lived experienceor paid experience working with people with disability.Day shift, night shifts, sleepovers andweekends.Strongunderstanding of the NDIS and its guidelines.Understanding of health and safetyregulations.Ability to workwith a diverse client base, understanding the differentsupport needs of clients based on their abilities, culturalbackgrounds, and language requirements.Basic care and first aid skills.Strong computer skills, including proficiency in microsoftoffice suite.
