Manager, Governance - Commercial Banking (Westpac Group) As Manager, Governance, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Commercial Bank’s risk governance framework, coordinating governance forums, preparing executive‑level papers, and maintaining critical governance registers and controls to ensure processes are well‑structured, compliant, and aligned with regulatory expectations. This full‑time role is based in Sydney with a hybrid working model. You’ll work closely with senior leaders across the Business & Wealth Division, contributing to the decision‑making rhythm and helping shape how risk is managed across the bank. What does this role require? Proven experience in governance, risk, or compliance within a large organisation. Strong written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise papers for senior audiences. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure. A collaborative mindset and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels.
