Senior Project Manager Victorian Department of Families, Fairness & Housing The Role The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing and installing new air conditioning technology within public high‑rise tower dwellings across Victoria’s fourteen precincts, comprising 44 towers and 6,660 units. Towers were constructed between 1960 and 1975 and range from 12 to 30 storeys, with 13 towers housing older persons. The role requires an experienced candidate with proficiency in all facets of construction project management, including procurement processes, contract management, stakeholder engagement, program management, scheduling, consultant coordination, and budget and cash‑flow reporting. Accountabilities Include Contribute to the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives, including research, analysis, and implementation of projects based on defined outcomes and outputs. Manage projects or sub‑projects and be accountable for their successful delivery and completion within resourcing, timeline, and budget parameters. Coordinate procurement processes, maintain robust communication, and manage budget and cash‑flow reporting. Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders such as divisional officers, consultants, contractors, renters, external agencies, local government, and departmental staff.
