AustChilli, Australia's largest chilli grower and a leading food manufacturing business is looking for a Production Supervisor to join our team. You'll be leading the way in preparing, processing, and packing our home‑grown chillies, avocado products and puree ingredients. Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll work alongside your team to ensure smooth production flow, consistent quality, and a positive, collaborative culture across the department. About the Role As a Production Supervisor, your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Guide and support a team of 4–12 people, working shoulder‑to‑shoulder with them to hit daily production targets. Prepare for each shift by ensuring staff, raw materials, packaging, and equipment are ready so production runs efficiently. Uphold HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards to meet customer and regulatory requirement. Promote a strong WHS culture and ensure all team members follow safe work practices. Support continuous improvement, reduce waste, boost productivity, and work closely with maintenance when issues arise. Complete accurate daily production records and use digital tools (iPads, tablets, MS Office). Maintain clear communication and promote a positive team culture. About You You will bring: Previous experience supervising teams in food manufacturing or fresh produce production. Minimum 3–5 years experience in a fast‑paced production environment. Practical understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards. Strong leadership ability with excellent communication skill. High attention to detail and a proactive approach.
