Employment Type Permanent Full Time Location Dubbo Commencement Date January 2026 Benefits Permanent full time (Monday – Friday) supporting students to engage in learning Mentor and guide students to build confidence, resilience and life skills Generous salary packaging benefits – up to $18,550 per year tax free Responsibilities Support student learning and engagement through in‑class assistance, wellbeing programmes and individual learning plans. Foster a safe, inclusive and trauma‑informed environment supporting cultural identity and diversity. Build positive relationships with young people and families to promote wellbeing and life skills. Collaborate with teachers, teams and community agencies to provide integrated support. Participate in school routines, activities and professional development. Maintain records and comply with child safety organisational policies and legal requirements. Skills and Experience Relevant qualifications in Youth Work or similar and/or equivalent experience (e.g. cultural and community knowledge and experience). Demonstrated experience engaging and supporting young people with complex needs, their families and communities to foster young people’s engagement in learning. High level communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with young people, families and communities. Strong organisational skills with the ability to provide and support a range of wellbeing and engagement programmes and activities. Current First Aid certification. Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence and ability to drive 12‑seat vehicles.
