We’re looking for an experienced Archaeologist/Heritage Consultant to join our growing Environmental team. Ideally, this role will be in Orange, NSW however we are open to the role being performed from one of our other offices in regional NSW (Dubbo, Goulburn, Wagga Wagga or Albury). You’ll work closely with our existing Archaeologist and broader environment team to deliver high-quality heritage and environmental outcomes for our clients. About You: Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology or related discipline. 3+ years’ experience in heritage and archaeological work. Strong understanding of heritage legislation and codes of practice. Excellent report writing and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to travel for field surveys as required. What you’ll do: Undertake archaeological field inspections and reporting for diverse environmental projects. Prepare Aboriginal and historic heritage reports, management plans and studies. Consult respectfully with Aboriginal communities and liaise with clients, councils, and stakeholders. Monitor project schedules and budgets to ensure timely, on-budget delivery. Use GIS and other relevant software to support project work. Stay informed on heritage legislation and industry developments.
