FULL TIME STORE/RETAIL MANAGER

Store/Retail Manager K I Retail Group Pty Ltd (Supa IGA Byron Bay) is an independent fresh food retailer located in Byron Bay, NSW. We are seeking a full‑time Store Manager. Responsibilities Assume responsibility and demonstrate accountability for overseeing store operations and performance. Supervise a high‑volume supermarket with a focus on Fresh Foods, ensuring an optimal stock assortment. Attain forecasted sales, gross profit, and wage targets. Manage pricing, promote sales initiatives, and execute periodic store manager promotions. Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements and audit standards. Uphold company standards and implement procedures for loss prevention. Provide effective leadership to the team, including Departmental Managers. Uphold the highest standards of customer service throughout the store. Negotiate and uphold favorable business terms with vendors. Maintain communication with suppliers, customers, and team members to achieve desired outcomes. Drive sales and lead the team to achieve profitable results. Engage with the local community and represent the company. Recruit, train, develop, and oversee staff performance. Maintain records and generate reports for ownership, covering financial accounts, staffing, legislative compliance, and other company activities. Requirements At least 1 year of full‑time equivalent retail/store management experience. Diploma level or higher qualifications in Retail or Management or Merchandising or Marketing or Business or Accounting or Business Administration. Additional 1 year of relevant experience considered in the absence of a qualification. Outstanding familiarity and proficiency in managing retail supermarkets. Exceptional comprehension of stock presentation, loss prevention, and inventory management. Customer‑centric approach. Proficient in IT to an intermediate level. Unrestricted work authorization in Australia. Compensation A competitive annual salary between $76,515 and $80,000+ plus superannuation and company mobile phone. Terms and conditions are as per the General Retail Industry Award (MA ). Additional Perks Financial assistance for relocation will be provided. A company mobile phone will be provided.
