Supplier Quality Engineer

We are a leading player in the automotive sector, known for innovation, quality, and engineering excellence. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our high-performing Supply Chain team. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and root cause analyses Review PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) submissions and ensure timely approvals Drive corrective and preventive actions with suppliers for non-conformances (8D, 5WHY, Fishbone, etc) Support new product launches by ensuring suppliers deliver quality components on time Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and production to resolve issues and improve processes Monitor supplier KPIs and lead continuous improvement initiatives Ensure material/components meet specifications, drawings, and regulatory requirements Communicate supplier performance to management and cross-functional teams About You Engineering qualification (mechanical, manufacturing, or related discipline) Automotive industry experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or engineering Strong knowledge of quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC) Strong understanding of ISO9001/IATF 16949/AS9100 or equivalent Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills Strong communication and stakeholder management ability Willingness to travel to supplier sites as required What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to work on cutting-edge automotive projects A collaborative environment with strong career development pathways Interested?
