This exciting opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about contributing to the growth of sustainable energy solutions.Role OverviewAs a Power Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and implementation of cable layouts for onshore wind farm projects, as well as grid connection activities. Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) for electrical systems, collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams including , providing technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle, and ensuring seamless grid integration.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement cable layouts for onshore wind farm projects, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.Develop comprehensive Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) for electrical systems, adhering to industry standards and best practices.Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle, from conceptualization to commissioning.Maintain an asset owner mentality, prioritizing long-term sustainability, reliability, and operational excellence.Take a lead role in grid connection activities for multiple wind farm projects.Conduct power system studies, including load flow analysis, short circuit calculations, and dynamic simulations.Develop grid connection designs and documentation in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.Coordinate with transmission network service providers to ensure seamless grid integration.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.Proven experience in power systems engineering, with a focus on onshore wind projects and grid connection activities.Proficiency in cable layout design, SLD creation, and electrical system analysis.Strong knowledge of power system analysis tools and software.Familiarity with Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) and network service provider requirements.Strong client management and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information.Familiarity with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.Asset owner mindset, with a commitment to delivering high-quality, long-lasting solutions.Why Join Our Client?Our client is a renowned leader in the renewable energy sector, dedicated to driving innovation and sustainability.
