You’re eyeballing decision‑makers and shaping what happens next. The work’s got range – numbers to people, process to polish, finance, admin, HR, and reporting that actually gets used. You’ll plug into a true global, but your day‑to‑day lives in Silverwater where the team knows your name and your coffee order. Full‑time, full voice, zero boredom. It’s hands‑on and close to the action – financial management, admin, payroll, compliance and the odd HR curveball. One day you’re closing the books and reporting to Switzerland. The next you’re tightening a supplier contract. You don’t just report numbers – you explain them, spot the opportunities, and partner with the MD to move the dial. You’ll run AP, AR, GL, payroll and banking end‑to‑end, own local and HQ reporting, and stay a step ahead of BAS, PAYG, GST, FBT and super. Budgets, forecasts and cashflow are your home base. Audits don’t rattle you. Controls and policies stay tight. You’ll handle the HR basics and loop in specialists when needed. And when hiring, onboarding or safety needs a steady hand, you jump in so the whole operation keeps humming. Qualifications You’re an experienced finance professional who wears more than one hat with ease. Think 5+ years in SMEs where you operate independently and make things happen. You know Australian tax and payroll inside out, and you’re the steady hand others rely on for numbers and process. If you’ve reported to an overseas parent, great. If not, you’re keen to learn it fast. Accuracy, calm under pressure, and the ability to translate finance for non‑finance people (so it influences, not confuses), are your calling cards.
