About You We are looking for a Azure DevOps Test Analyst star in the software community, someone who is passionate about elevating the QA profession and ideally brings experience from a professional services/consulting background. Please note: This is a contract position from the beginning ASAP through to April 2026 with possible extensions. The experience, skills and attributes we are looking for include but are not limited to: 5+ years functional testing experience 3+ years proven and demonstrable experience on ADO (Azure DevOps Test Management tool) Ability to setup and configure Azure DevOps project structures, repositories, test plans & suites and test configurations and dashboards Experienced in building and maintaining requirement hierarchies using ADO work items Analyse, interpret, and validate business and system requirements Develop comprehensive functional test cases, acceptance criteria, test data, and execution cycles. Execute test cases, raise defects with sufficient detail, and follow defect lifecycle to closure. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by guiding business users through test case development, execution, and defect triage. Experience working within Agile, hybrid Agile/Waterfall, or iterative project delivery models. Collaborative team player and able to work autonomously Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Solid stakeholder management and engagement skills ISTQB certifications is desirable Relevant Degree or Tertiary qualification (IT, Technology, Testing) or equivalent experience would be desirable Government sector projects experience is desirable but not essential Please note: Candidates must have current working rights in Australia and be based in Brisbane or able to relocate to Brisbane at their own cost.
