The role A fixed term part‑time position (0.6 FTE) is now available for a Humanities, Psychology & Christian Studies Teacher. Commencement January 2026 until end of school year (2026). The successful candidate will have: The desire to teach in an environment where both Christian values and academic excellence are emphasised Passionate about teaching the next generation Relevant qualifications with VIT registration and commitment to professional learning Proven record of field‑work experience and/or relevant tertiary qualifications Key Responsibilities Assess students’ skills to design a flexible, personalised Humanities, Psychology & Christian Studies curriculum that addresses their unique needs and goals. Continuously improve teaching strategies and activities by integrating student feedback and assessment data to refine lesson plans and delivery. Create student‑centred activities that encourage exploration and innovation in product design, fostering the practical application of theoretical concepts. Establish high expectations to cultivate a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment, promoting creativity and problem‑solving. Skills and Experience Proven experience teaching Humanities, Psychology & Christian Studies to students in Years 7‑10 A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering both academic and personal growth in students. Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex design concepts and engage effectively with students, colleagues, and parents. Dedicated to ongoing professional development, staying current with trends in Humanities, Psychology & PE and maintaining a proactive approach to teaching. VIT Registration.
