About the Role As our Marketing Coordinator , you’ll play a key role in supporting the full marketing function of the Reptile Park. You'll work closely with our marketing team to boost awareness, engage audiences, and deliver creative campaigns. Your day‑to‑day could include anything from crafting EDMs and analysing performance reports, to assisting with video shoots, coordinating media visits, updating the website, or helping execute unforgettable school holiday events. Key Responsibilities General Marketing Support: Assist with promoting tickets, tours, education programs, and annual passes Prepare monthly marketing, social, and school holiday performance reports Keep an eye on trends, competitors, and new marketing ideas Content Creation & Campaigns: Design fun and engaging collateral in Canva, or coordinate with designers Create and send weekly EDMs and targeted communications Keep the ARP website updated with fresh content, events, and promotions Help plan and run school holiday promotions and Reptile Park activations Customer Communication: Respond to customer enquiries across email, phone, and social media Engage with reviews and comments on Google, TripAdvisor, and socials Support the booking and sales team when needed Media & Events Support: Assist with filming, photography, and onsite media visits Liaise with media for interviews and help draft press releases Organise permits and help coordinate special events What We’re Looking For Qualifications & Experience: 1–3 years of marketing experience (or a standout uni grad ready to learn) Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, business, or similar Experience with MS Office, Canva, Campaign Monitor, Looker Data Studio is desirable Skills: A creative thinker with strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent time management and organisation Detail‑focused, proactive, and eager to grow Comfortable working independently and in a close team Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills What We Offer A workplace like no other, surrounded by amazing wildlife every day The chance to work on campaigns that inspire, educate, and entertain A collaborative environment where you’ll learn from talented marketing professionals Loads of opportunities to build skills across every area of marketing Unforgettable hands‑on experiences that you simply won’t get anywhere else This role requires availability during school holidays and public holidays (Monday–Friday).
