Base pay range A$70,000.00/yr - A$75,000.00/yr A growing Managed Service Provider is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to deliver high-quality technical support, resolve customer issues, and contribute to the stability and security of client environments. The role is ideal for someone with solid foundational experience in IT support who is looking to broaden their skills across cloud, networking, cybersecurity, and endpoint management within a fast‑paced MSP setting. Location: Brisbane City (Onsite, Full‑time) Citizenship: Must be an Australian Citizen OR a PR Holder Experience required: 2+ Years (in MSP) Responsibilities Responding to incidents and service requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems Performing initial diagnostics and troubleshooting across hardware, software, networks, and cloud services Supporting Windows and macOS environments, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Azure Configuring and troubleshooting network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, and WAN/LAN environments Providing support for endpoint management tools such as Intune and Datto RMM, including patching, device configuration, and security policies Maintaining accurate ticket documentation and contributing to knowledge bases Collaborating with Level 2/3 engineers for escalated issues and project‑related tasks Adhering to ITSM practices and assisting in continual service improvement initiatives Delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining clear communication with end users Qualifications Experience in an IT support or service desk role within an MSP Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows environments; macOS experience is a bonus Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) Ability to configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure Admin, SharePoint, and Exchange Online Basic understanding of cybersecurity practices, including endpoint security and MFA Experience with WatchGuard firewalls Experience using automation within Datto RMM Knowledge of data loss prevention tools and cyber risk fundamentals Experience supporting virtualisation environments (Hyper‑V or VMware) Exposure to device compliance, MDM policies, and zero‑touch deployment workflows Familiarity with scripting tools such as PowerShell and basic automation concepts Please apply online or email your CV directly to .
