Graduate Project Engineer

Join Fennec Services as a Graduate Project Engineer to develop construction planning and scheduling expertise in a dynamic team environment. Your Role Key responsibilities include: Review building designs and develop construction methodologies Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project Manage QA across projects ensuring compliance with technical specifications Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and project teams to gather planning information Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect site conditionsPrepare planning reports and identify critical path activities Coordinate with project managers to optimize resource allocation Conduct periodic site visits to verify progress, budget alignment, and schedule compliance Support tender submissions with preliminary program development Assist in analysing project delays and developing recovery schedules Preplanning and scoping for large projects About You Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Strong organisational and analytical skills Experience with or willingness to learn Primavera P6 or MS Project Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder engagement High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple project schedules Able and willing to travel to remote project sites periodically (rarely required) Based in or willing to relocate to North Brisbane/Geebung area Compensation & Benefits Competitive graduate salary with a vehicle for the right candidate Diverse project exposure across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors Hybrid role with time shared between site and office Work in a small agile business where innovation and hard work are appreciated and rewarded Training & Development Training and mentorship in project planning and scheduling software Career Progression Clear pathway for professional development and career advancement How to Apply If you are a detail-oriented graduate ready to build your expertise in construction planning and scheduling, Fennec Services wants to hear from you.
