Direct Support Worker – Ashgrove Gain valuable skills and experience within performing arts while supporting clients with disability. Casual shifts 7 days a week. Great role for students of the arts. Responsibilities Playing: Work with the centre's team of dedicated support workers to enable the best outcomes for clients. Providing: Support and assistance with personal care, including bathing, toileting, dressing, eating, and medication. Facilitating: Lead arts and music programs to support clients' creative goals. Safe and Effective: Deliver daily living services to optimise independence, health, and quality of life. Ensuring: Encourage clients to make their own decisions in a positive manner. Privacy: Protect dignity and privacy; safeguard personal information. Qualifications Experience in music, arts, or performing arts. Empathetic nature and ability to create an inclusive and fun environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Passion for helping others and creating a positive impact.
