About The Opportunity The primary purpose of this position is to support and manage mortgage advance matters while developing deep expertise within a highly specialised area of banking and finance law. This is an ideal role for a graduate or early-career solicitor who wants to accelerate their legal career, gain meaningful responsibility, and earn well above market rates — all while working entirely from home. Your responsibilities will include: Managing mortgage advance files under the guidance of senior lawyers Applying detailed procedures for drafting, reviewing, and finalising documentation Liaising with lenders, brokers, and clients regarding mortgage transactions Working closely with Associates, Paralegals, and the Solicitor Director Utilising advanced technology, automation tools, and AI-assisted drafting systems Ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely progress across all matters Participating in weekly team meetings and ongoing legal training About You The successful candidate will have: A law degree and eligibility for admission in Australia Strong academic performance and interest in banking & finance, commercial or property law High attention to detail and strong written communication skills A desire to grow quickly and take ownership of legal files The ability to work independently in a fully remote environment Strong organisational skills and the capacity to follow detailed procedures What's in it for You?
