Laboratory Technician – Food Science Student

About the Company/Role Our client is a well-known dairy beverage company based in Western Sydney. The supply into all major retailers and uphold high quality standards. They are seeking a Food Science student to join their team in the lab carrying our microbial testing of beverage samples. This role is required to work one day per week on a Saturday from 11am-7pm. This role can also be asked to come in on an ad-hoc basis during busy periods. Duties Microbiological testing of dairy beverage samples Ensure highest levels of HACCP and GMP by monitoring manufacturing Ensure highest levels of Hygiene by following cleaning and sanitation programs Involvement with internal and GMP audits Reporting and actioning on NCRs Calibration of laboratory instruments daily and maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the lab Skills / Experience Current student studying tertiary qualifications in Food Science Hands‑on experience in a laboratory Have a keen and diligent work ethic with good people skills Working knowledge of HACCP/GMP/GLP Strong computer skills MS Word/Excel Excellent attention to detail Culture & Benefits Excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on industry experience while you complete your degree Work with an iconic Australian brand which supplies to major retailers Work as part of a close‑knit team Parking on‑site Apply If you think this could be the role for you then please apply now Please send us a cover letter AND a detailed resume in WORD format (PDFs can be corrupted / not processed).
