Various shifts from Monday to Saturday. Securing and restraining loads in a safe manner as per operational requirements. In line with company standards and government regulations. Performing vehicle pre-start checks. Reporting any defects/safety concerns to supervisor. Fill out Drivers Daily Worksheets, pallet details, amendments, fatigue breaks or additions. Perform general housekeeping of the Prime Movers, Trailers & SCT & Customers premises. Achieve impeccable safe driving record. Ensure all paperwork is handed in daily, any returned stock is accompanied by relevant paperwork. Compliance within MT DATA application. Comply with all site requirements and such other matters as may be directed by the company. Notify the supervisor of issues along your journey and at any destinations. Provide flexibility to respond to business needs at short notice. Desired Skills and Experience Desired Skills and Experience The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years driving experience, the appropriate licence (HC or MC) and an RTA report. Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate the ability to work unsupervised, a high level of self-motivation, a professional attitude and the ability to follow instructions. Successful candidates will be required to undertake a pre employment medical and Police background check. Other important information We reserve the right to commence recruitment proceedings prior to the stated closing date. The successful candidate will have to undertake an Australian Federal Police check and Pre-Employment Medical (for certain roles) which will be arranged and paid for by SCT.
