About the Role As a Catering Assistant at RSL LifeCare, you will be empowered to make a meaningful difference to people's lives. Key responsibilities include: Work closely with the catering team and the Head Chef to deliver high quality catering services for residents and visitors. Comply with Food Safety Standards. Maintain a clean, efficient, and professional work environment – dishwashing and cleaning the kitchen, equipment, and dining areas. Demonstrate a customer service mindset when interacting with residents, families and visitors. Serve residents meals and snacks, ensuring correct meals are served to residents with special dietary needs. Build strong, productive relationships with your team to deliver a positive dining experience. Qualifications in catering or hospitality, or related experience beneficial but not essential. Australian Working Rights. Police / NDIS Check A mandatory requirement for a team member in the Aged Care sector is a valid Police Check or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check (or both). Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment.
