The Role The Gardener – Handyperson is responsible for maintaining the school grounds in a safe and tidy condition, ensuring a conducive external learning environment for students and staff. This includes overseeing the upkeep of turf areas, garden beds, shrubs, trees and various soft landscapes. The role also involves maintaining hard landscaping features such as courts and paving, marking sports areas and conducting minor repairs in line with departmental policies. Additionally, the Gardener – Handyperson keeps gardening facilities, equipment, tools and machinery clean, serviceable and reports faults promptly, adhering to safe work practices. Want to know more?
