You will be contributing to rescuing pre-loved clothing from landfills You will be helping Red Cross raise vital funds to support vulnerable people across Australia You will be part of a team and feel valued for your time Training and development opportunities are provided Generous discount on all your purchases What does a typical day look like in a Shop? In your 4‑hour shift (or more if you like) you will do a variety of tasks such as: Welcoming and engaging customers Processing transactions through point of sale, including cash and EFTPOS payments Sorting and pricing donations Creating vibrant displays to attract shoppers Keeping the shop clean and tidy Following all shop processes What skills do you need? Friendly and positive attitude Sociable and engaging with others Happy to work as part of a team Flexible and willing to do any of the shop tasks Commitment to your nominated shift Whats the application process? No need to upload a resume – just tell us why you’re interested in the role You'll have a friendly interview in store, and we’ll ask you a few questions and you can ask us questions too You must be at least 15 years of age (16 in QLD) Completing a National Police check (paid for by Red Cross) You'll also be required to complete an Induction into our organisation and Retail program Apply now and let’s get you started on a rewarding volunteer journey in one of our Red Cross Shops.
