About the Role We’re seeking a warm, motivated Speech Pathologist to join our growing paediatric therapy team. In this role, you'll work with a predominantly paediatric caseload (ages 2–17) with a small number of young adult clients (typically aged 18–22) who may be continuing therapy to support communication, learning, or transition‑related needs. This role is predominantly community‑based therapy to start, with mentoring, admin and check‑ins conducted in our main clinic. You’ll receive weekly clinical supervision and mentoring from our Clinical Lead | Senior Speech Pathologist, ensuring you feel supported and confident across a varied caseload. You’ll begin with a small group of wait‑listed clients and grow your caseload at a sustainable pace, with plenty of opportunity to collaborate, learn, and develop your niche. What You’ll Be Doing Provide therapy to children and adolescents (2–17) and a small number of young adults (18–22), across clinic, school, and community settings. Work across key clinical areas including early intervention (ages 2–6), speech sound disorders, language delays and disorders, social communication, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), literacy and phonological awareness. Conduct assessments, deliver therapy, and create goal‑directed, family‑centred reports and plans. Collaborate closely with Occupational Therapists on co‑managed clients, including occasional joint sessions. Support local school initiatives through kindy/pre‑primary screening programs and occasional school visits. What We’re Looking For A recognised qualification in Speech Pathology and current SPA registration. At least 2 years of paediatric experience preferred – however, senior therapists looking for a senior role are also encouraged to apply. A team player with strong communication skills, and a family‑focused approach to therapy.
