About the role Working alongside the director of Palladia John Salagaras and senior associate Hong Nguyen, this role will provide unique exposure to financial planning in a high performing environment. This is a rare opportunity for someone wanting to work in a firm that has amazing energy, is fast paced and growing. To be successful you will have an exceptional level of work ethic and personal drive along with confidence to be able to communicate with clients in a professional yet personal manner. We are really seeking someone who is committed to growing with the brand, becoming better daily and with a keen attention to the small details which matter at Palladia. Initially the role will be based in our headquarters in Kent Town and 4 days a week (0.8 FTE in year one); with flexibility to move to a full-time role in year 2 available. Shortlisted candidates will be advised late November for an interview with John Salagaras, Simon Fallon & Hong Nguyen. Key Responsibilities Work closely with John Salagaras, Hong Nguyen and the broader team at Palladia to deliver all aspects of financial advice across a diverse client base including companies, individuals and wholesale clients. Preparation of applications and documentation to present to client; including presentation materials for new and existing clients. Communicate warmly and professionally with clients to ensure that at all stages there is clarity and confidence around the execution of their advice. We expect that the individual has a thirst to learn and grow plus sees themselves as a professional committed to doing the best for our clients. Skills & Experience A passion to want to work in a team environment and being committed to contributing to the culture at Palladia. Previous experience working in a financial planning associate role is a positive; however this is not a requirement. The technical aspects and financial literacy elements we can help you develop – what is critical is have the right work ethic and desire to learn and grow. Tech savvy and an open mind to seeking better ways of doing things. Strong organisational abilities with a proactive approach to managing work flow & time management. Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with our clients, stakeholders and amongst the team here at Palladia. Ability to handle confidential information with a high level of discretion A keen eye for detail ensuring accuracy across documentation, compliance & work flow management. A passion for efficiency and innovation continuously seeking ways to streamline our processes Ability to work independent & take initiative which we promote at Palladia Wealth Advisory – you will not be micromanaged and so being self-driven and motivated is critical.
