The OpportunityReporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will

provide direct supervision of the activities of Tradespersons / Technicians (including Contractors) and ancillary personnel, within the light vehicle workshop

.

This is a FIFO role, working on an 8:6 roster (ex-Perth).About the RoleUse your leadership skills to create a high-performance teamEnsure both personal and departmental safety KPI’s are achievedDisplay and uphold a safety-first culture, while constantly looking for ways to improve ESGCommunicate effectively and efficiently with senior leadershipManage all registered plant activities including (Registered & Itinerant)Manage personnel movement, ensuring constant on-site coverage requirements are metManaging maintenance daily/weekly work plan, including break-in tasksEnsure the workshop team is 100% compliant with all statutory training requirementsFacilitate a constant improvement culture in your departmentUtilisation of Pronto as the primary maintenance management system, operating through the work request and work order processWork closely with short and long-term planners to ensure weekly and shutdown plans meet required objectivesOrdering adequate spares, materials and consumables, while embracing the ANSI systemEnsure both personal and the maintenance department’s KPI’s are achieved by actively leading your teamBe cost conscious and contribute to achieving the maintenance department’s cost budget.Desired Skills and Experience
