About the role The Manager for this role, John Jones, National Practice Manager, is based in Sydney and leads our Dynamics CRM and Power Services function. John's recent acceptance into the global Distinguished Technologists program is a testament to his visionary leadership and dedication to pushing the boundaries of technology whilst driving game-changing contributions. As an Architect, Dynamics 365 CRM with Insight, you will own and drive challenging projects and work with customers to understand functional and business requirements and design appropriate solutions. We will count on you to be an SME for strategic client opportunities and provide leadership and technical support to your teammates. Responsibilities Act as a team lead on smaller engagements taking ownership of the team tasks Assist other team members in resolving common development and design problems. Provide consulting services including discovery, design, build, deployment, test, pilot, documentation, and transition. Assist customers in resolving highly technical and complex problems. Work within political, cost, and technical constraints to provide the most appropriate solution for the client. Collaborate with project manager(s) in project planning. Effectively and consistently report status of projects back to project managers during project execution. Assist with project closure by developing project artefacts, participating in project lessons learned. Display strong situational analysis, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Collaborate with teammates (internal / external) using various tools and methods (Blogs, Conferences, etc). Take responsibility as the technical representative of Insight within strategic accounts to develop strong client relationships and identify opportunities for Insight. Be AmbITious Consultative Demonstrable experience architecting, designing, and implementing advanced technical solutions Understanding of functional and business requirements to make appropriate technology recommendations Strong ability to cultivate relationships with partners, suppliers and clients in order to develop and share understanding of technology roadmaps Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate both technical and abstract concepts in a clear and concise manner Highly developed conceptual and analytical skills combined with sound judgement Ability to write quality high level and detailed architectural diagrams, strategic roadmaps and technical documentation that communicate customer vision Deliver strategic consultancy services including enterprise maturity assessments, roadmaps and technology platform evaluations Previous consulting / professional services experience is required Technical Experience with deploying solutions to cloud hosting subscriptions. Expert level understanding of at least 2 of the Dynamics 365 First Party Applications Expert level understanding and hands on experience with Power Automate and Canvas Apps. Working knowledge with hands on experience with Power BI, Power Pages and AI Builder Experience with complex CRM configuration and customisation including integration and data migration. Strong ability to develop solutions to solve complex business or technical challenges. Experience in Dynamics CRM functional consulting Best practice and implementation with Application Lifecycle Management Experience with Power Platform Centre of Excellence Toolkit A good understanding of user experience design concepts (desirable). Strong understanding of Agile / SCRUM delivery methodology and tools such as Azure DevOps / Git (desirable).
