We are hiring PBI Data Modeler for Global client to join their COE Team for Data & Analytics, transforming data to information and building Data models to translate Business Requirements to conceptual and logical Data Models to support data-based decision‑making initiatives. As the PBI developer your required to work in consultative manner, having deep development expertise in curating Microsoft PowerBI data models for business users and a strong ability to translate business requirements into deliverables that are fit for purpose, performant and supportable. Responsibilities Translate Business Requirements to conceptual and logical data models. Develop an in-depth understanding of the business processes and data in the organization and apply the knowledge towards developing and maintaining the Corporate Data Model with the defined Data Governance Policies. Design, build and enhance Power BI Data Models and backend Azure Synapse Analytics data views (MV,CTAS) using standards and acceptable patterns Working with Data Engineers and Business Analysts to ensure consistent and quality analytic product outputs Review business requirements and provide feedback and guidance on data requirements for Microsoft data model, cube and database design/development Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, whether working independently or in teams Review performance and scalability of Microsoft BI Stack, highlighting areas of improvement to the team and management Work within and across teams to ensure stakeholder/user expectations are managed and to collaborate on solutions Work collaboratively with BI Business Analysts, Senior Data Analysts and Data Engineers to build purpose‑built Data Models to deliver insights to the business. Experience Required Minimum 2+ years' experience in the Design, build and enhancement of Microsoft Business Intelligence Data Models solutions using Microsoft Power BI, Azure Synapse Analytics, SSRS & SSAS. Proficient in dimensional model and working with database star schema's Time based analysis, across large detailed transactional datasets, building aggregations, performance tuning Highly proficient in tabular data modelling, Dax coding and integration with Synapse Analytics Server. Deep Experience in developing, implementing, supporting and improving a data warehouse on the Microsoft BI platform, including PowerBI, Azure Services (ADF, Data Lake, Databricks), T-SQL, SQL Server data platform, SSIS, SSAS and SSR. Experienced Power BI modelling, Dax coding Experience working with Azure Cloud technologies.
