THE ROLE The Electrical Engineer is responsible for selecting, evaluating, and applying relevant engineering knowledge, techniques, and procedures to support the safe and effective operation, maintenance, and management of facility assets, infrastructure, and systems at OASIS. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Perform technical studies, analyses, investigations, and consultations. Identify, define, and develop detailed requirements for facility infrastructure, equipment, and system modifications, replacements, upgrades, or recapitalizations. Design and develop solutions for technical problems across the electrical engineering discipline. Review and advise on proposed changes to facility infrastructure and systems, from concepts to detailed IFC designs. Perform engineering calculations supporting facility infrastructure operation and design. Provide technical recommendations on system reliability, operation, maintenance, lifecycle management, and costing. Develop ROM costing estimates for infrastructure modifications, upgrades, replacements, or recapitalizations. Evaluate operational systems and infrastructure for optimization and improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety requirements. Perform other duties as required. MINIMUM ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance (no exceptions). Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. DESIRABLE Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Familiarity with power generation, distribution, load management, and data center power systems preferred. Minimum one year experience with building management and control systems, facilities operation, and maintenance. Project management and leadership experience is desirable.
