Palantir Foundry Architect Location: Anywhere / Remote / Hybrid Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Palantir Foundry Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise‑scale data and application architectures within the Palantir ecosystem. This role focuses on defining strategic architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and performance across Foundry deployments, and guiding teams in best practices for ontology design, data integration, and application development. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Palantir Foundry, strong architectural design skills, and the ability to align technical solutions with business objectives. Key Responsibilities Define and own the overall architecture for Palantir Foundry implementations, including ontologies, data pipelines, and application frameworks. Establish best practices for semantic modeling, object types, views, and actions to enable scalable and maintainable solutions. Design integration strategies for enterprise systems, ensuring interoperability and compliance with governance and security standards. Provide architectural guidance for building interactive applications using Foundry Workshop, Slate, and AIP, ensuring alignment with ontology‑driven workflows. Oversee optimization of data models and transformations for performance and scalability using Foundry DSL, PySpark, and SQL. Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust architectural solutions. Ensure adherence to data governance, lineage tracking, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX). Define CI/CD strategies and deployment frameworks for Foundry environments. Conduct architecture reviews, performance assessments, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Document architectural standards, patterns, and guidelines using Foundry Documentation App and Confluence. Required Skills and Experience 10+ years of experience in data architecture or enterprise architecture, with 3+ years in Palantir Foundry. Expertise in Palantir Foundry modules: Ontology, Workshop, Quiver, Contour, Taurus. Strong understanding of distributed systems, data modeling, and integration patterns. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Foundry DSL; familiarity with PySpark and TypeScript is a plus. Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services and architectural frameworks. Deep knowledge of data governance, security models, and compliance frameworks. Proven to lead architecture discussions and influence technical direction across teams. Preferred Certifications Palantir Foundry Architect or equivalent advanced certifications. AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
