Our construction focus is on medium to large commercial and industrial projects. We pride ourselves on excellent builder & client relations with a solid & constantly evolving portfolio of industry partners allowing us to maintain a steady flow of new projects. The Opportunity We are seeking a suitably qualified person able to take a lead role with a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a commercial HVAC commissioning & balancing role. The ideal applicant will be reliable, self‑motivated and well presented. They must possess full driver’s licence, NEBB and or TACA certified. You will be an integral part of our in‑house construction team that would include design input. This is a salaried position with a negotiable package based on experience and qualifications with overtime when required. Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for QA support, construction inspections, mentoring of the project team during build phases, assisting the drafting team in relation to HVAC design for effective commissioning & all final balancing, documentation and witness testing of our construction projects. Our projects range in value from $50K to $8M & include high rise commercial, aged care, health care, aquatic and sports centres & education throughout Melbourne & Metropolitan. This is a new role within the business with an outlook to build an effective & supportive commissioning team around the right people. The successful applicant would be offered an immediate start pending notice periods. About you Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial HVAC commissioning & balancing. Must possess NEBB and/or TACA certified . Knowledge of HVAC electrical and BMS controls. Ability to work autonomously . High level of proficiency with computers & relevant software packages . Possess a full driver’s licence . Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency. Highly Regarded (Ideally you will) Have a trade background with relevant associated industry experience. Hold a trade registration or experience in Engineering, controls, Refrigeration, Electrical, or Mechanical Plumbing. Have completed a Cert IV in testing & balancing .
