About The Role We are seeking experienced Truck Drivers to work collaboratively to deliver high‑quality environmental solutions and results at Pembroke Resource’s autonomous project in the Bowen Basin – the Olive Downs Complex. The project, located 40 kilometres south‑east of Moranbah, commenced mining operations in mid‑2023. Thiess was awarded a five‑year contract to deliver full‑service mining operations, including mine planning, overburden removal, drill & blast, load & haul, water management, rehabilitation, and the construction of mine infrastructure. As part of a team focused on a strong performance culture, you will report to the Mining Superintendent and work a 7 days on, 7 days off, day/night roster. Your duties will include: Operating machinery efficiently, safely, and competently to ensure maximum output Complying with Thiess’ policies and procedures Operating, driving and moving material as directed to prepare operating areas and roads Minimising dilution and achieving design parameters within acceptable tolerances Maintaining stockpiles, dumps and haul roads to ensure flow in a safe and efficient manner Setting and maintaining high housekeeping standards Carrying out pre‑start checks About You As the successful applicant, you’ll be a high‑achieving, team‑focused individual who enjoys delivering results in a dynamic environment. Your exceptional relationship‑building skills and ability to engage and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders will also ensure your success in this role.
