Solution Architect / Integration Specialist - Payroll & Workforce Systems Synchro Partners is partnering with a leading organisation in the services sector to recruit a Solution Architect / Integration Specialist with strong experience with Dell Boomi and good exposure to Payroll or Workforce systems. This role is pivotal in shaping the integration landscape that underpins HR, Payroll, and Time & Attendance processes. You'll take ownership of designing, implementing, and optimising integration solutions that enable seamless data flow across the enterprise—supporting compliance, efficiency, and employee experience. Key Responsibilities Design and architect end-to-end integration solutions for Payroll, HR, and Workforce Management systems using Dell Boomi or similar iPaaS platforms. Develop, test, and maintain interfaces, data flows, and APIs between Payroll, Time & Attendance, and other enterprise applications such as Finance and Operations. Define integration architecture standards, data governance principles, and security controls. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, system owners, and vendors to translate business needs into scalable, maintainable integration designs. Provide technical leadership across projects and BAU enhancements, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and system roadmaps. Lead troubleshooting and optimisation activities, identifying root causes and implementing long-term solutions. Maintain detailed documentation including architecture diagrams, interface specifications, and data flow maps. Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying automation opportunities and improving integration resilience. Key Requirements Proven experience designing and delivering integrations using Dell Boomi . Strong understanding of Payroll, HR, and Time & Attendance systems , including data models, workflows, and compliance frameworks. Solid grounding in integration architecture principles , including API management, middleware orchestration, and data transformation. Demonstrated ability to engage and influence stakeholders across business and technology functions. Experience working with sensitive employee data and applying best practice security and privacy controls. Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills, with a structured and pragmatic problem-solving approach. Familiarity with ITIL and agile delivery methodologies advantageous.
