Senior Allocator

If you have a passion for customer service, logistics and a talent for problem solving and prioritising workload, then this is the opportunity for you We currently have an opportunity for an experienced logistics professional to join our supportive team and be responsible for, but not limited to, company & sub-contractor agitator allocations. We can provide you with training in all aspects of this role to allow you to develop your skills and succeed. This is a permanent full time role, Monday to Friday with regular Saturday work. Based in Thebarton, SA. Responsibilities Use software packages to allocate work for agitator trucks. Liaise with internal and external customers regarding delivery requirements. Maintain service schedules and coordinate servicing for company fleet. Ensure Chain of Responsibility and other national heavy vehicles requirements are always adhered to. What you will need to succeed Demonstrated ability to prioritise work effectively in an environment of constant change. Previous experience in a customer service/planning/scheduling function desired but not essential as training can be provided. Computer literate with previous experience in Microsoft Office essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport with diverse people. Understanding of national heavy vehicle & Chain of responsibility requirements desired (training can be provided).
