Radio Frequency Engineer As a global leader in providing Radio Frequency Planning solutions, ATDI is currently looking for an RF Engineer to join its Sydney-based team. The successful applicant will play a big role in a variety of interesting projects and will receive ongoing in‑house support and training. Role Description Familiarise with ATDI’s products and services. Search for new clients who might benefit from the company’s offerings. Develop long-term relationships with clients through regular communication, managing and interpreting their requirements. Organise product demonstrations for existing and prospective clients. Manage and provide training on the company tools covering radio‑planning, spectrum management, and cartographic data management to customers and internal staff. Provide consulting on customers’ technical RF studies (field measurements, radio‑planning/coverage studies and reporting). Validate and test software collaborations with the developers, highlight requested modifications and enhancements. Validate implemented functions before release to customers in liaison with the sales team. Convert and prepare cartographic data for customers. Persuade clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery. Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet client and company requirements. Support/lead marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events. Follow up on post‑exhibition/events. Liaise with other members of the sales team and technical experts. Participate in developing requirements specifications and product customisations. Analyse technical requirements in the pre‑sales process (technical response to RFQ/RFP/Tenders, technical pre‑sales negotiation). Research and report on emerging technologies and trends. Attend domestic and international travel as required by the company. Qualifications Relevant education in a related discipline. 3‑5 years of experience in relevant skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident. No restrictions on frequent overseas travel. Preferred Qualifications Skills and experience with ATDI tools and/or other RF software. Experience in civil or military spectrum engineering and resource management. Proficiency in a second language other than English that can benefit in the APAC region. Seniority level: Mid‑Senior. Employment type: Full‑time. Job function: Engineering and Information Technology.
