Senior Linux Systems Engineer

What you'll do Supporting and optimising our APAC Linux estate; the continuous improvement of our tools and pipelines to ensure that our systems scale as the company grows. Gaining in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience of hardware and software configuration applicable to the trading space; OS Optimisation, NICs & kernel tuning, Core isolation. Working with/implementing/supporting tooling/systems such as Puppet, Ansible, Openstack, VMWare, Kafka, Kubernetes and a suite of monitoring/logging/reporting tools (CheckMK, Nagios, Prometheus, ELK and more). Support and administer our storage and backup network infrastructure (Various SAN, NAS, DAS technologies such as NetAPP, Pure, GPFS & Vast). Major projects in the region such as rolling out new trading platforms, deploying new solutions as required by the business and automating/enhancing what we already have in place (iterate and improve). Collaboration: You will partner closely with our Infrastructure, Project Management and Strategy Developer Teams to deliver and manage scalable and highly performant systems to support trading in the region and globally.

What we're looking for A Linux engineer who puts their team first and loves collaborating as much as they love deploying great systems and understanding how things work. Solid experience administering and working with Linux systems and associated tooling - knowledge of Data Centres/Hardware/trading systems is an advantage. Solid and demonstrable skills with programming/scripting in Bash, Python or any other languages. Automation focused with a proven track record of designing/delivering end-to-end systems and solutions.
