You'll be part of a supportive maintenance team keeping production running efficiently across a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment. About The Role We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join on permanent nights. You will be responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability across site operations. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative, reactive and breakdown maintenance on all production and packaging equipment Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective solutions to reduce downtime Carry out routine inspections and mechanical adjustments Support continuous improvement initiatives and machine optimisation Maintain accurate maintenance records and uphold strict food safety and hygiene standards Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams across night operations Skills & Experience Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter Minimum 5+ years post‑apprenticeship experience Experience within FMCG or food manufacturing highly regarded Strong fault‑finding ability across conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors and general plant equipment Ability to work independently on night shift Solid understanding of WHS, GMP and food safety requirements What's On Offer Permanent night shift (10pm‑6am, Sun‑Thu) Stable long‑term role with a growing manufacturing business Supportive team environment with opportunities to develop your skill set Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Manufacturing Industries Staffing and Recruiting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at ACRWORLD by 2x Get notified about new Mechanical Fitter jobs in Minto, New South Wales, Australia . #J-18808-Ljbffr
