The Opportunity We are seeking a passionate Health Educator to provide engaging and effective teaching and assessment support for school‑based learners undertaking their HLT33021 Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance. Based in schools within the Goulburn and Queanbeyan regions our learners will commence Year 11 & 12 in February 2026 and complete this course as part of their HSC studies. Educators will deliver weekly learning content and assessment guidance sessions in a classroom environment during school terms and be available for individual support via phone, email and online during agreed hours. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of training delivery and industry experience. We welcome applicants from a diverse range of health discipline areas including nursing, allied health and general practice. Location: southeastern NSW Southern Highlands & Tablelands regions of NSW (location flexible with a hybrid working arrangement – work from home when not at the schools) Work type: part‑time ongoing employment Appointment commencing: mid‑January 2026 Salary: approximate salary range $89 000 FTE per annum plus super. Dependent on level of experience. What you’ll be doing Planning, preparing and delivering weekly face‑to‑face workshops based on UNE Partnerships content Assessing student work in accordance with UNE Partnerships assessment guidelines Initiating contact with students considered at risk on a regular basis to review progress and assist them to overcome barriers to completion Developing and monitoring Learning Support Plans for students with diverse needs Supporting students while they are undertaking work placement About you – Required qualifications and experience TAE40116 and/or a higher qualification in the field of Adult or Vocational Education Vocational qualifications and/or tertiary degree in the allied/primary health care discipline area Industry experience working in a relevant health care setting First Aid and CPR certificate Working With Children Check (WWCC) Desired additional skills and background Experience in delivery and assessment of VET programmes to individuals and groups Competency in using Learning Management Systems (such as Moodle) and video conferencing or virtual classroom systems (such as Teams) Demonstrated understanding of learning principles and engagement strategies to support a diverse community of learners Benefits At UNE Partnerships we value our team and offer: flexible remote work – enjoy the autonomy of working remotely; impactful role – directly contribute to workforce development & growth in a values‑driven organisation; professional development – opportunities to grow and stay ahead in the industry; collaborative environment – work effectively within a supportive team; competitive package – attractive salary and benefits.
