Position Overview We are currently seeking a driven and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist (Grade 1 or 2) to join our Allied Health team providing care across medical, surgical, and inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient rehabilitation wards. You'll work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality occupational therapy services in line with professional and organisational standards. Grade 2 therapists demonstrate advanced clinical skills, work independently, and contribute to mentoring, education, and quality initiatives. Our areas of focus include inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, orthopaedics, surgical, general medicine, and ICU. Shifts are Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts. Responsibilities Complete comprehensive patient assessments (e.g., personal care, domestic and community ADLs, home environment, cognitive and functional physical assessment). Provide comprehensive treatment interventions and appropriate progression to match functional goals, managing complex patients. Collaborate with the Supervisor/Manager and other Occupational Therapy caregivers to develop processes for evaluating inpatient and outpatient occupational therapy programs. Maintain patient/client plans and outcomes, regularly monitoring through multidisciplinary team meetings. Strive for high satisfaction levels of patients/clients and external agencies. Complete appropriate administrative duties, liaising with the administration team, reporting statistical data, and completing progress notes. Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy. Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Minimum of 2 years’ experience. Current driver's licence. Benefits Salary Grade 1: $70,866 to $97,980 per annum (pro‑rata for part time), plus 12% superannuation. Salary Grade 2: $95,432 to $114,129 per annum (pro‑rata for part time), plus 12% superannuation. Permanent part‑time position available. Salary packaging up to $18,550 on a range of benefits such as mortgage, rent, meal entertainment, holiday accommodation or other everyday living expenses, plus options to salary package benefits above the FBT cap on items such as: Novated leasing, work‑related expense, self‑education and additional superannuation.
