Graduate Environmental Consultant - Sustainability & Circular Economy Dartmouth Consulting Pty Ltd – Melbourne VIC Dartmouth Consulting currently has an opportunity to join our Sustainability & Circular Economy team based in Melbourne. Australian citizens and permanent residents are preferred for this position. Dartmouth Consulting is a sustainability focused approval, environmental, energy and infrastructure multi-disciplinary consultancy. We provide planning, stakeholder engagement, sustainability reporting, advisory, environmental science, engineering, and project management across the full project lifecycle. Our core sectors include circular economy, resources, renewable energy, environmental and sustainable infrastructure, and sustainable property. We are seeking a recently graduated professional, seeking to develop your expertise rapidly. Working directly alongside the highly experienced seniors in our team (with 20 to 30+ years' experience) and an emerging group of professional staff, you will benefit from the intensive career development support that larger firms cannot always offer. Key responsibilities Support the technical lead on large and complex projects and proposals. Undertake research on relevant legislation, emerging and existing technologies. Collect data to inform decision making and strategies. Complete reports for all stages of the project – from conception to completion. Lead and assist with proposal presentations for prospective clients and/or projects. Attend meetings with clients to manage projects according to Dartmouth's scope of services. Key competencies and experience Relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelors or Masters) in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Environmental Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business or similar. 0-2 years' experience in consulting, or experience across Circular Economy, Waste Advisory and Strategy or similar sector. Interest in Circular Economy, Waste Management Strategies and Sustainability. Proven track record of contributing high quality work. Demonstrated experience managing projects to completion, within budget and to a high standard. University projects are considered acceptable project management experience for this graduate role. A current driver's licence is an essential requirement for this position. Skills and behaviours Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders and audiences and the ability to develop solid working relationships both internally and externally. Exceptional organisational skills. Willingness to learn and develop into an industry leader. Excellent problem-solving capabilities. A flexible approach to work, including a willingness and ability to work on and expand your skillset on a wide range of topics.
