Product Engineer – Relevance AI Location: Sydney, Australia (Hybrid – 3 days in office per week) Mission : Empower anyone to delegate work to the AI workforce. Responsibilities Lead zero‑to‑one development of new features and product improvements from problem discovery to launch and iteration. Build functional prototypes and ship production‑grade features, integrating LLMs, APIs, tools, and data sources. Translate customer insights into crisp product requirements, specs, and success metrics. Design and run experiments (A/B, feature flags) to validate hypotheses and drive measurable outcomes. Partner with internal teams and customers to co‑create solutions; turn high‑signal feedback into roadmap priorities. Contribute to internal tools, documentation, and playbooks that accelerate how we ship. Champion a high bar for UX, performance, and developer ergonomics across the platform. Impact Own end‑to‑end product features that deliver real customer value. Prototype quickly, write production‑grade code, define success metrics, and iterate fast with real users. Switch fluidly between user interviews, product specs, and writing code. Accelerate shipping through internal tools, documentation, and playbooks. Tech Stack Frontend: Vue.js, Nuxt, Typescript Backend: Express.js, Node.js, Typescript, Python Database: MongoDB, PostgreSQL Cloud & Deployment: Vercel, AWS Qualifications Experience across the product and software development lifecycle, with either a background in product management, software engineering, or a mix of related roles. Regularly leverage AI coding tools and technologies in your workflow, and stay up‑to‑date with the latest advancements to boost productivity and innovation. Comfort operating across the stack of product work: user research and customer discovery, specs, product tradeoffs, technical constraints, launch, and post‑launch optimization. Comfort with modern programming languages and frameworks (Typescript + Node.js preferred), or a proven ability to quickly master new technologies. A track record of owning outcomes, not just tickets – shipping features that moved metrics. Thrive in dynamic, high‑performance startup settings and comfortable with ambiguity, rapid iteration, and taking initiative.
