BSenior Advisor Safety NSW Rural Fire Service – Senior Advisor Safety Location: Sydney Olympic Park (flexible working arrangements and alternative primary location considered) Salary: $115,109 – $127,411 p.a. plus 12% superannuation Employment: Full‑time, 35‑hour work week, RFS Level 8/9 What you’ll be doing Provide Work Health and Safety (WHS) information, advice and support to NSW RFS members to enable implementation and ongoing improvement of the WHS systems and framework in accordance with the Work Health Safety Act 2011 and related legislation. Key attributes and skills Good decision‑making ability, capable of making critical decisions under pressure. High level of attention to detail. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to present information to various stakeholders. Experience in safety incident management and investigations using root‑cause analysis methodology such as ICAM. Experience facilitating risk assessment.
