Solutions Architect - Infrastructure / Microsoft About the Role Our client, a leading Government organisation are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join a dynamic ICT team delivering large-scale digital transformation initiatives. You’ll lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable enterprise solutions across on-prem, cloud and hybrid environments ensuring alignment to architecture frameworks and business strategy. You’ll work collaboratively with technical, cyber, and governance teams to modernise platforms, reduce technical debt, and develop technology roadmaps that drive long-term innovation. Key Responsibilities Lead and review enterprise solution architectures across multiple programs of work. Define cloud transition and integration strategies for complex systems. Develop technology standards, roadmaps and reusable solution patterns. Provide expert guidance on architecture frameworks, governance and compliance. Build strong relationships with technical and business stakeholders to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions. Skills and Experience Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Solution Architecture across complex enterprise environments. Proven experience designing and implementing on-premises, cloud, and hybrid solutions, ideally using the Microsoft technology stack. Strong understanding of TOGAF, ITIL, and enterprise development frameworks. Demonstrated ability to deliver multiple concurrent initiatives within large organisations. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills. Experience producing roadmaps, technical patterns, and reusable architectural components. Ability to stay across emerging technology trends and apply them strategically.
